Food Assistance:
Kane County Care & Share
The Kane County Care & Share program is the equivalent of a Food Bank and is set up like a grocery store pantry. Kane County currently operates three pantries – Kanab, Orderville, and Big Water.
Kanab location: 56 W. 450 North (near the skate park)
Orderville/Long Valley Care & Share Location: 415 E. State St. Hwy. 89 (Long Valley Senior Center)
Big Water Location: 175 Aaron Burr Avenue, Big Water, UT

Utah Food Bank
Distribution day is once per month on the second Monday, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 20 East Center Street, Kanab Utah.

WIC
Provides nutrition and breastfeeding services and supplemental foods to pregnant women, new mothers, infants and children up to their 5th birthday.

The Community Health Division has community health workers who can help connect you to resources and partners in the community. Resources they can connect you with include Aging Health Concerns, Children & Youth Support/Protection, Clothing Needs, Disability Services, Domestic Violence Resources, Education, Housing, Employment, Food, Medical/Dental Care, Utilities, Veteran Services, and more. We also have a car seat program. We have technicians who can check car seats to make sure they are installed correctly. If someone needs a car seat and can’t afford one we have a form they can fill out to get a free car seat.
